Reality as seen through the eyes of an artist. We frame our world through the filter of composition, light, communication, passion. These are the among the filters used by science and technology. Observational science involves requires the vision of an artist. Experimental science requires the creativity of an artist.
Just three letters, ART, too big a subject to discuss. I cannot summarize my complex feelings about art, but do know that being an artist and seeing nature through an artist’s eye has provided a depth and wonder to my work as a scientist.
